Bristol North East became a new parliamentary constituency at the General Election in July 2024.

The constituency is made up of eight wards.

Four wards are within the Bristol City Council Local Authority and four wards are within the South Gloucester Local Authority.

Damien Egan was elected MP for Bristol North East in July 2024.
